We are a family run business with over sixty years of experience in the electrical sector whether domestic, industrial or tertiary
The company was founded in 1960 in Sant Julià de Lòria by the LOAN-MIÑO family under the name ELECTRICITAT LOAN. Its founder was Isidre Loan Ricou who managed the company until 1990 and who to this day still exercises the role of president of the group. In 1990 he handed over general management to his son Jaume Loan Miño, who is the current CEO.
In 2003 and due to the various expansions in commercial activity, the decision was taken to create two corporations: ELÈCTRICA LOAN and LOAN COMUNICACIONS. And finally, due to the company’s constant evolution LOAN MIÑO SL was created, known commercially as GRUP LOMI.
In September 2019 the third generation of the LOAN family joined the company, with the incorporation of Xavi Loan Font as associate to general management, thus guaranteeing the company´s continuity.
